Promise in how many exciting things I have planned for the year.
Promise in that I have so much to share with everyone.
Promise in that I’ve deepened my connection with other fantasy authors over the last year.
And finally, but so importantly…
Promise in that there is hopefully a horizon where the sun will set on the pandemic and we’ll all walk out of our homes to a new day when everyone can socialize once again.
I have so many irons in the fire right now, I’m uncertain where I should begin. The Muse of Wynter is scheduled to release in 10 days. WOW! I didn’t realize it was that close until I looked at the calendar when I was typing this. If you’ve read it, I hope you’ll consider leaving a review on Amazon or Goodreads.
Writing has been slow, but I am working on a short story at present for an anthology planned for release later in 2021. Stay tuned for more information on this project.
I have been eyebrows-deep in revisions for The Serpentine Throne. Next month, I’ll have a free novella to share with my subscribers too. I just received the edits back from my editor and I had to do a happy dance with her message to me:

“This was SUCH a joy to work on, Susan. I just loved it. Your characters are so vivid, you’ve got an incredible gift with tension, and I sank right into this and wanted more. Well done!”

In other news, I’ve been super busy in networking with other authors for the last couple of months, and I’ve developed a fun little professional network. Along with two other authors, we launched a Facebook group called Fantasy Author Network. If you’re a fantasy author and interested in growth through networking, come join us!
