Avium – Tree that produces gèan berries
Avlí – Courtyard
Bhaumnuts – Treenuts, like almonds
Bagnio – pleasure house
Caetera – /keet-er-uh/ – Name of the new world Elle has been brought to.
Caval – /kav-uh-l/ – Horse-like animals – silver-white steeds. Cat-like eyes. Knobby horns. Stout and wide-legged with a full mane covering head and neck, and the same silvery hair forms bells around the hooves. Cavali (pl.)
Cengal – /sing-awl/ – Suebhian meaning the bond between Caval and Rider.
Decana – A master of a bagnio or an Éhrosi House on the Isles.
Deípno tis Vasílissas – Queen’s Dinner
Deípno tou Vasíliá – King’s Dinner
Éhros (m.), éhrosa (f), éhrosi (pl) – Courteasans
Entrant – A person selected from Earth to become part of Caeteran Society.

Moulder – Glass worker, specifically a maker of weapons.
Noctilucent Claret – Red and purple or white and purple flower, native to the Idris Mountains on Caetera, that is luminescent in the night
Odeum, The – the theater and a great dining hall
Ovest – derived from Italian, West
Pelea shoots – stalks of a plant burned in Unity rituals, namely to prepare non-travelers to cross the rifts.
Primavera – Spring (dir. from Italian)
Regi (m.)/ Regina (f.) – Formal address to Terrináe’s royalty
Residenze – Neighborhood in Terrináe
Rifter – Someone with a physical Flare who can separate rifts between dimensions.
Safipyèr – Blue gemstone. Fourth hardest.
Sassino / Sassini (pl.) – A sect that follows the principles of Liber very strictly. The sect trains the most elite soldiers for the Cadre d’Aigis.
Suiren – A flower like the lotus that blooms on a pond.
